Eligibility Requirements

The following are general eligibility requirements for all organizations to submit a grant proposal.  If you have questions, please email info@BirdFamilyFdn.org.

• Organizations must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) and be classified as a public charity under section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a qualified public entity as described in section 170(c) of the Code.
• Organizations must be based in or operate programs serving North Texas OR demonstrate impact within at least one of the designated focus areas.
• Organizations should be prepared to develop and share metrics measuring the effectiveness of their programs.

The 2025 Grant Cycle is now open. Applications are due August 1, 2025, and grant decisions will be made in early Fall 2025.
