Eligibility Requirements
The following are general eligibility requirements for all organizations to submit a grant proposal. If you have questions, please email info@BirdFamilyFdn.org.
- Organizations must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) and be classified as a public charity under section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a qualified public entity as described in section 170(c) of the Code.
- Organizations must be based in or operate programs serving North Texas and demonstrate impact within at least one of the four designated focus areas.
- Organizations should be prepared to develop and share metrics measuring the effectiveness of their programs.
Apply for Funding (now accepting applications for 2022 grant cycle)
- All organizations must submit a brief LOI for approval before receiving access to the full application.
- Applications are due July 22, 2022, and will be considered on a rolling basis as submitted.
- All grant decisions will be made in September 2022.
