Eligibility Requirements
The following are general eligibility requirements for all organizations to submit a grant proposal. If you have questions, please email info@BirdFamilyFdn.org.
- Organizations must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) and be classified as a public charity under section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a qualified public entity as described in section 170(c) of the Code.
- Organizations must be based in or operate programs serving North Texas and demonstrate impact within at least one of the four designated focus areas.
- Organizations should be prepared to develop and share metrics measuring the effectiveness of their programs.

Due to prior funding commitments, the Bird Family Foundation is conducting a closed grant cycle for 2023. We deeply appreciate the work of all our past grantees. Please check back in January 2024 for updated information on future grant cycles.
